Remember my post on buttermilk, this is a similar one, on how to obtain half-and-half in countries where this is not available.
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
Remove two tablespoons of milk from the amount above. Melt the butter on very low heat. Mix the remaining milk and butter together until well amalgamated.
Done!

Uh! No way! I’ve been avoiding all those delicious half and half recipes because we don’t have any down here… but then it turns out that it’s this easy to make it!
